Such cold!

OK, so I will not be the only one moaning about this sudden wave of freezing temperatures, but in my garden at least 3 times this week the termomether reached minus 10C! Saturday it was freezing, but bright sun!
View over my back garden:

And this morning it turned to a bit of snow, but not that much.
Temperatures still minus!

So this last week I went about some knitting, and here is the result.

And my Valentine card is getting in shape, but not yet completed.
Hope Valentine Day will find me ready!

Wishing you all warmth and ending my little post with a thought:

"If we had no winter, the spring will not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."

New project

My next project is a Valentine card, and I hope to be able to finish it in time.

I am so happy to report that my second cross stitch in the January trilogy is now framed. Third one I hope it will be done in Jan 2013.

And I'm leaving you with a lovely text I found on Dayspring.com

Your life is a beautiful tapestry that the Lord is weaving together for good.
Each day new threads are added ... a little here, a little there.
With each new experience He brings about His glory in you, and it shines as you grow beautiful with time.
You are a masterpiece of His creation!
"And we know that all things work together for good in them that love God ..."
Romans 8:28KJV

Past time

Dear all,

I have just finished my January project, and here is the result:

And one little reminder that time passes, but love lasts!
"Love is a fabric which never fades, no matter how often it is washed in the water of adversity and grief." (source unknown)

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead and much peace and joy in you hearts,

Always Blessings Around

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

This comes to say a big thanks to Maria, my blogland friend, for her creative card, a unique moment captured on her camera that delighted my soul!

As well as her lovely newsletter, I might copy this idea and do something similar next year. Oops, you won't mind, will you Maria?

And to wish you all a wonderful New Year filled with blessings and contentment, and His mighty grace!

Happy New Year 2012!
